things

So random things today.... I saw this photo of Lindsay Lohan and she looks eerily similar to Anna Nicole Smith...   (in her younger skinnier days)
Don't get me wrong it's kind of pretty but she looks like a totally different person than that sweet red head in Mean Girls (2006) or Freaky Friday (2003).

Do you know who I think are probably my 2 most favorite beauties?
I guess I am a fan of the darker haired ladies because for 1) Adriana Lima!  (Victoria's Secret model)  is my favorite!

2) Kim Kardashian

VA-VA- VOOM!~
Oh and the best room spray in the world is from Bath & Body works.   Pick your favorite scent and spray ONCE and the entire room will smell and smell for a long time!  It's great!!!!  Lasts FOREVER...

I am thinking about cutting my hair & getting bangs.  The kind of bangs you  have to committ to.  I always get them long enough so I can brush them out of my face... and that's exactly what I do.   I need the straight across the forehead ones...  What do you think?
Here are some cute bangs I found:

Baby Research.. (Vanderbilt)

I have signed up for a Vanderbilt infant study about 3 month old babies.  I simply answer questions about what he is fed and his eating habits for the most part.   There is a small "payment" but that's not why I am doing it.  I love scientific studies and to be part of one is kind of exciting!

Here is what they said about the study:

During the interviews you will be asked questions about your health, moods, food in your house, stresses you
may have, and about the people who help you care for your baby. You also will also be asked questions
about feeding your baby, including a history of what your baby has eaten in the past 24 hours. It is estimated
that each interview will take 30 -45 minutes of your time, depending on how long it takes to answer all the
questions. The first interview will be conducted after you enroll in the study (when your infant is about 3
months of age) with the 2
group of moms (25%) will be randomly selected (like the flip of a coin) to complete an additional short
interview about what their baby ate in the last 24 hours about 1 week after one of the interviews.
We are interested in your opinions and feelings about being a mother. There are no right or wrong answers.
Some of the questions will be true/false or yes/no. Other questions will have several possible answers. As we
go along, if you have any questions, please stop me. Some of the questions I ask may not pertain to you or
your family. If there is a question you’d rather not answer, please let me know and we will skip that question.
You do not need to answer questions that do not pertain to you or your family.
As part of the study we also want to collect information from your baby’s medical record. We will be looking at
the records that your doctor or nurse maintains to collect your baby’s height, weight, and head circumference
measurements.

James & milk.

James is smiling and talking (sort of, mostly saying agooo and squealing) so much these days!  He gets fussy about once a day and it's never something a bottle won't make better.  We are so lucky!  He sleeps through the night, although I have to admit he is still sleeping in bed with me.   I like it that way because I love being close and snuggling with him!   I am going to push myself this week to begin putting him in his crib.  As far as eating he is drinking breast milk as well as formula. He hasn't seemed picky about formulas either.  I signed up on the enfamil and similac websites in hopes of receiving some good coupons but nothing has arrived *yet*.    My work has a really nice room for me to pump in.  It's carpeted, has a recliner, a mini fridge, a full length mirror, a coat rack, & magazine table.  It's also locked all day and only I have the key!  Talk about a dream come true come break time.  All it needs is a tv and I wouldn't go back to work.  Guess that's why there isn't one in there.   Today I think if the coupons don't come in we are going to try the wal-mart "Parent's Choice" brand (it's not too expensive) to see if James likes it.   My mom has been watching James throughout the week in Smyrna at her house.  It's SUCH a relief knowing he is in good hands.   It isn't as bad as I thought driving all the way to Smyrna in the mornings then back to work.  (Takes me about an hour and half to do that!)   Still.. can't beat worry-free & cost-free babysitting!    Thank you Grandma!!
